A home inspection should take around two to three hours from start to finish. After this, your inspector will do a comprehensive write up- which will be around 30 or more pages. Make sure you read not only the summary but the entire report! You want to ensure you don’t miss any information!

Your inspector should be detail oriented. They will know what to look for and how to spot it.
Your inspector doesn’t look for scuffed walls, torn wallpaper, or dingy appliances. They will, however, inspect anything related to safety, livability, and functionality. Some things your inspector will likely examine are: exterior cladding, foundations, roofs, attics, electrical panels, HVAC, plumbing and any damaged areas.
